How to measure

Duty wear isn’t sized like a t-shirt. Take these six measurements once and every reorder after that just fits — or come in and we’ll take them for you.

MeasurementApplies toHow to take it
NeckDuty shirts, dress blousesMeasure around the base of the neck where a collar sits, keeping one finger between the tape and your neck. Round up to the nearest half inch.
SleeveLong sleeve shirts, blousesFrom the center back of the neck, across the shoulder and down the outside of a slightly bent arm to the wrist bone. Shirts are sized in pairs (32/33, 34/35).
ChestOuterwear, job shirtsAround the fullest part of the chest, under the arms, with arms down and tape level.
WaistTactical pants, dress trousersAround the waist where the pant actually sits — for duty pants that's usually at the belt line, not the natural waist. Measure over a duty belt if you wear one.
InseamAll pantsFrom the crotch seam down the inside of the leg to the top of your boot. We hem to this — you don't need to round to a stock length.
Boot sizeFootwearMeasure late in the day, in the socks you actually wear on duty. Note width if you normally size up.

Why waist and inseam are separate

Most stores make you pick a pant by a single size and hope. Duty pants don’t work that way — a 34×32 and a 34×34 are different garments, and the officer wearing them knows it. Our filters treat waist and inseam as separate axes so you can find the exact pair rather than the closest guess.

We hem to your inseam

You don’t need to round to a stock length. Give us your measured inseam and we hem to it in-house — or choose Hold for fitting at checkout and we’ll measure you before we cut anything. See services →

Measure over what you actually wear

If you wear a duty belt, measure your waist over it. If you size up for thick socks, note your boot width. The point is the uniform on shift, not the one on the tape.

Not sure? Come in.
