The 647 is a steel plate offering from Buffalo Armory measuring only .21 thick with a weight of 6.3lbs in a 10x12 SH configuration. The 647 will address LE departments looking for a ASK (Active Shooter Kit) options and Fire/EMS departments looking for an affordable yet durable NIJ 0101.06 certified plate option. The 647 is certified to level III with a III+ rating (includes the 5.56x45mm M855/SS109 green tip) along with 2018 DEA certification. The 647 offers a 10 year warranty.
